AFFAN is a social organization for the women in our community.  The club began as Welcome Wagon and formed its own group in 2001.  We have fun, meet new friends, keep old friends and provide a casual environment for staying involved with the community. 

Members do not have to reside in Ahwatukee to belong. The club’s objectives are to provide members with opportunities to meet others in the community, to provide an atmosphere of friendliness, goodwill and helpful information, and to participate in cultural and educational endeavors and support chosen activities. 

Members can also participate in a variety of interest groups, including cards, games, book clubs, dining groups and day trips in Phoenix and in Arizona.  Monthly meetings feature speakers and/or activities. AFFAN supports a charity through raffles at the monthly luncheons and a charity fundraiser once a year.
